RelayBaby
Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
RelayBaby helps parents and caregivers coordinate baby care. This policy explains what information RelayBaby collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
RelayBaby is intended for adults who care for a child. It is not directed to children.
Contact
If you have questions or want to request deletion of your account or synced data, contact support@relaybaby.app. You can also visit our data deletion page.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as your email address and display name when you sign in for Care Circle sync.
- Household and caregiver information, such as caregiver names, roles, invite codes, active caregiver state, and Care Circle membership.
- Child profile information, such as name, birth date, care mode, and avatar settings.
- Baby-care records you enter, such as feed, sleep, diaper, medication, note, reminder, and handoff details.
- Subscription information, such as App Store product identifiers, entitlement status, expiration date, RevenueCat customer identifiers, and purchase event metadata.
- Device-local preferences and setup state, such as whether onboarding has been completed. These remain on your device unless they are part of a Care Circle sync record.
- Crash and diagnostic information, such as app version, device and operating-system details, stack traces, and generic error categories.
- Website usage and performance information, such as pages and routes viewed, referrer, general location, device and browser characteristics, network speed, and Web Vitals.
The native RelayBaby app currently does not send product analytics events to a third-party analytics provider. Its product analytics recorder is local or in-memory only unless a future version adds an external analytics service. The RelayBaby website uses the anonymous website analytics and performance tools described below.
How we use information
- Provide baby-care logging, reminders, timelines, handoffs, and Care Circle sync.
- Let invited caregivers join a shared household.
- Check subscription entitlement and unlock paid features.
- Process account deletion and data deletion requests.
- Maintain security, prevent unauthorized access, and troubleshoot issues.
- Respond to support requests.
Sync and third-party services
RelayBaby can work locally on your device. If you enable Care Circle sync, RelayBaby uses Supabase to store and sync account, household, caregiver, child profile, care event, handoff, reminder, invite, and subscription entitlement data.
Baby-care data created while Care Circle sync is off stays in the app’s local storage and is not sent to Supabase. Turning on Care Circle sync uploads the records needed to keep the household consistent across participating devices.
RelayBaby uses RevenueCat to connect App Store purchases with subscription entitlements. Apple processes App Store payments. RelayBaby does not receive your full payment card number.
RelayBaby uses Sentry for crash and diagnostic reporting. Sentry is configured without default personal information, screenshots, view hierarchy, session replay, network breadcrumbs, performance tracing, or raw handled-error messages.
RelayBaby uses Resend to deliver Care Circle invitation emails. Authentication magic links and one-time codes are managed through Supabase Auth.
The RelayBaby website is hosted by Vercel and uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. These services collect anonymous page-view and performance data for aggregate traffic and reliability reporting. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies, and neither service associates its data points with an individual visitor or IP address.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only as needed to operate RelayBaby, including with:
- Supabase, for authentication and sync.
- RevenueCat, for subscription entitlement management.
- Apple, for App Store purchases and subscription management.
- Sentry, for privacy-restricted crash and diagnostic reporting.
- Resend, for Care Circle invitation email delivery.
- Vercel, for website hosting, anonymous traffic measurement, and performance monitoring.
Care Circle data is shared with members of the same household who have joined through the app’s invite flow.
Data retention
RelayBaby keeps synced account and care data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can reset local data on your device from the app. You can also request deletion of your synced account and server data from the in-app account deletion flow or by contacting support@relaybaby.app.
Care Circle invitation delivery status and provider message identifiers may be retained to prevent duplicate sends and troubleshoot delivery. Some purchase, entitlement, security, and diagnostic records may be retained as needed for fraud prevention, accounting, legal compliance, dispute handling, and service reliability.
Your choices
- Use RelayBaby locally without Care Circle sync.
- Choose what child, caregiver, care event, handoff, note, and reminder details you enter.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account.
- Request access, correction, or deletion of synced account data.
- Reset local data on your device.
International users
If you are in a region with privacy rights such as the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Brazil, or California, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing of your personal information. Contact support@relaybaby.app to exercise those rights.
RelayBaby does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Security
RelayBaby uses authentication, row-level security, and server-side checks to limit access to synced Care Circle data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable technical and organizational measures.
Changes
We may update this policy as RelayBaby changes. We will update the date above and, when changes are material, provide additional notice in the app or through the App Store listing.
