These Terms of Service govern your use of RelayBaby. By using RelayBaby, you agree to these terms. This page is an implementation draft and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before launch.

What RelayBaby does

RelayBaby helps adults coordinate baby-care routines such as feeding, sleep, diapers, medication notes, reminders, and caregiver handoffs. RelayBaby is a care coordination and recordkeeping app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always contact a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions or urgent care decisions.

Your responsibilities

• Entering accurate information.
• Choosing who you invite into a Care Circle.
• Keeping your email account and device secure.
• Using RelayBaby only for lawful purposes.
• Making sure your use of RelayBaby is appropriate for your household.

Do not use RelayBaby to store emergency medical instructions where a delay, missed notification, or sync issue could create a safety risk.

Accounts and Care Circles

Some features can be used locally. Care Circle sync requires authentication. When you invite another caregiver, that person may see shared household, caregiver, child profile, care event, handoff, reminder, and subscription status information for that Care Circle.

You are responsible for removing people who should no longer have access.

Subscriptions

RelayBaby may offer paid subscriptions through Apple in-app purchase. Subscription prices, billing periods, free trials, introductory offers, and promotional offers are shown before purchase.

Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation, and refunds according to your App Store account settings and Apple’s terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account.

Access to paid features may depend on an active subscription entitlement from Apple and RevenueCat. If entitlement data is delayed, unavailable, or incorrect, contact support@relaybaby.app.

Acceptable use

• Do not try to access another household without permission.
• Do not interfere with RelayBaby’s systems, sync, or security controls.
• Do not reverse engineer the app except where law allows it.
• Do not use RelayBaby to violate another person’s rights or privacy.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.

Data deletion

You may reset local data from your device. You may request deletion of synced account and server data by contacting support@relaybaby.app or using the account deletion flow when it is available in the app.

Deletion may not remove records that must be kept for legal, security, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Availability

RelayBaby may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Sync, reminders, notifications, subscriptions, and external services can be interrupted by network conditions, operating system behavior, third-party services, or maintenance.

Intellectual property

RelayBaby, including its design, code, text, and branding, is owned by its creator or licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership rights to you.

You retain ownership of the care information you enter, subject to the rights needed for RelayBaby to operate and sync the service.

Disclaimers

RelayBaby is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, RelayBaby will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or household coordination.

Changes

We may update these terms as RelayBaby changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
